(The Dentist)
I try to get a few moments to myself each morning so I can think about what to do next, or to write or draw something that’s on my mind.
This morning as I was brushing my teeth I was reminded that I have a broken tooth. See, I was eating a hard salty liquorice candy this weekend, and suddenly my bad tooth broke. It’s been drilled and filled, so I didn’t feel any pain, but half of the tooth just just wasn’t there anymore. The candy was mixed with something hard and crunchy. Porcelain on porcelain.
I’ve been extremely busy lately, yet somehow I have also managed to start writing and drawing again. I haven’t had the time to deal with no fucking tooth.
As I brush my teeth I start to bleed. I realise that there is one call that is more important than others right now.
But in spite of this I get my camera out to take a few pictures, and find myself trying to get a good shot of the roses and vase I bought for Annika’s birthday.
Now I really need to make that call so I can start programming.
